Carl Jack Snyder: Green Sea

1963 – 2017

     Carl Jack Snyder of Green Sea died Wednesday, July 26, in the Grand Strand Medical Center, Myrtle Beach. He was 54.

     Born May 2, 1963 in Tucson, Arizona, he was the son of the late James Dorian Snyder and Peggy Ann Wheeler Vandyke.

     He is survived by his wife, Patricia Hope Snyder of Green Sea; two sons, Shawn David Turner of Chesapeake, Virginia, William “Billy” James Snyder, best friend and son, of Green Sea; one daughter, Ryan Elizabeth Stende of Pasadena, Maryland; and one sister, April Stegner of Flagler, Colorado.

     In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Jeffrey Dale Snyder.

     He retired from the United States Navy as a CWO3 Officer.

     A memorial service was planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, July 29 in New Horizon Baptist Church, Tabor City.
