Annie Darlene Henson: Tabor City

1952 – 2017

     Annie Darlene Henson of Tabor City passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 5, at Whiteville Care Center Angel House following an illness. She was 65.

     Born Feb. 28, 1952 in Pickens, she was the daughter of the late Bill Henson and the late Bessie Jean Powell Henson. Mrs. Henson was a loving homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

     Survivors include her common law husband, Ludy Joe Bryant of the home; son, Wayne Watkins of Clarendon; daughter, Annie Fowler of Tabor City; two brothers, Alvin Henson of Easley, and John Wayne Henson of Orangeburg; two sisters, Rosa Lee Henson of Orangeburg, and Daisy Henson of Easley; four half-brothers, Billy Queen and Jimmy Queen, both of Easley, David Powell and Kenneth Powell, both of Pickens, Georgia; one half-sister, Janie Stader of Washington, Indiana; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

     In addition to her parents, Mrs. Henson was predeceased by her sister, Brenda McCall and one granddaughter, Ashley Watkins.

     Memorial services were planned for 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15 at Carolina Community Church in Liberty.
