William “Bill” Michael Maher: Longs

1947 – 2017

     William “Bill” Michael Maher of Longs passed away Wednesday, Oct. 11, at his home in Longs. He was 70.

     Mr. Maher was born on Sept. 2, 1947 in Brooklyn, New York, the son of the late Mr. Eugene Maher and the late Mrs. Eloise Maher.

     Survivors include his, son, Robert Maher of Long Island, New York; two grandchildren;  three brothers, Gerard Maher, Greg Maher, and Dennis Maher.

     Committal services were held 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 19 at Florence National Cemetery, 803 E. National Cemetery Rd., Florence SC 29506, with Deacon Andrew Stoshak officiating.
