Wilhemina P. Cannon: Loris

1933 – 2017

     Wilhemina P. Cannon of Loris passed away Thursday, Nov. 16. She was 84.

     Mrs. Cannon was born in Loris, a daughter of the late John Talmadge and Myrtle Prince. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. Mrs. Cannon was of the Baptist faith.

     She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Clarence Cannon; three daughters, Melissa Bethea of Florence, Gail Hayes of Lake View, and Angie Sellers of Myrtle Beach; three brothers, John “Jr.” Prince of North Myrtle Beach, Bobby Prince of Darlington, and Barry Prince of Loris; one sister, Billie Jo Tyler of Loris; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.

     Services will be private.

     In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mrs. Cannon’s memory to the Arthritis Foundation National Office, 1355 Peachtree Street NE, Suite 600, Atlanta, GA 30309.
