Hyman Glenn Fowler: Loris

1956 – 2017

     Hyman Glenn Fowler of Loris passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 15, at McLeod Loris hospital. He was 61.

     Born June 5, 1956 in Loris, he was the son of the late Hyman Bertram “H.B.” Fowler and the late Nathie Cox Fowler Chestnut. Mr. Fowler worked until his retirement at H. B. Fowler Repair Shop and was a longtime member of Live Oak Baptist Church.

     Survivors include his son, Jason Glenn Fowler; Jason’s mother, Regina Doyle; and his brother, Ronnie Fowler, all of Loris.

     In addition to his parents, Mr. Fowler was predeceased by one son, Steven Fowler.

     A memorial service was planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, at Live Oak Baptist Church with Rev. Lloyd Williamson officiating.

     Family planned to receive friends during the hour preceding the service in the Live Oak Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
