Earl Dale Spivey, Sr.: Tabor City

1943 – 2017

     Earl Dale Spivey, Sr. of Tabor City died Wednesday, November 29, 2017, in his home. He was 74.

     Born Aug. 16, 1943 in Columbus County, he was the son of the late Arthur and Adell Williams Spivey.

     He is survived by his wife, Mary Judith Harrison Spivey of the home; one brother, Elbert Spivey of North Carolina; and three sisters, Doris Neupert of Chesapeake, Virginia, Dorothy Spivey of Tabor City, and Shelby Jean Spivey of Myrtle Beach.

     In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Earl Dale Spivey, Jr.; and one sister, Sherry Jane Corothers.

     Visitation was planned from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3, in Inman Ward Funeral Home of Tabor City.

     Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 4, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, burial following in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
