Samuel Joseph Faircloth: Tabor City

Samuel Joseph Faircloth of Tabor City, age 91, died Thursday, Dec. 7, in Shoreland Healthcare and Retirement Center, Whiteville. He was 91.
Born June 21, 1926 in Columbus County, he was the son of the late Oliver Zeno Faircloth and Cynthia Prudence Anderson Faircloth.
He was a Veteran of the United States Army.
He is survived by four sons, Dennis Todd of Clarendon, Fred Todd, Ricky Faircloth, and Ronnie Faircloth of Whiteville; two daughters, Wanda Gayle Stevens of Whiteville and Rhonda Anthony of Ashboro; 13 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one son, Joey Faircloth; one grandson, Eddie Stevens; and six sisters.
Visitation was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, in Inman Ward Funeral Home of Tabor City.
Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 10, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, burial following in Powell Cemetery, Tabor City.
