Peggy Currie : Tabor City

1937 – 2018

     Peggy Currie of Tabor City died Friday, Jan. 26 in her home. She was 81.

     Born Jan. 19, 1937 in Columbus County, she was the daughter of the late Dow Watts and Edith Soles Watts and the widow of Lewis Mack “LM” Currie.

     She is survived by a daughter, Kelli Currie of Tabor City; a son, Greg Currie of Tabor City; two brothers, Don Watts and Ronald Watts of Tabor City; four sisters, Virginia Long and Betty June Ward of Tabor City, Doris Grainger of Green Sea, and Phyllis Althen of Charleston.

     In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by four brothers, Bill, Ted, Dale and Ned Watts.

     Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, Tabor City, burial following in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

     Visitation was planned for the hour preceding the serving in the Chapel.
