Roscoe Beck: Clarendon

1927 – 2018

     Roscoe Beck of the Mollie Community, Clarendon, died Tuesday, Feb. 6, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice in Whiteville. He was 90.

     He was born Oct. 31, 1927, the son of the late Charlie Beck of Mollie and Gladys Bennett Beck of Exum.

     He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Jeanette Gore Beck and three sisters, Joann Gore of Eagle River, Alaska; Dulah Belle Ward of Clarendon and Violet Mincey of Shelby.

     He is survived by two sons, Gerald Beck of Shallotte, Rickey Beck of Chadbourn; a brother, Norman Beck of Summerville; two grandchildren; four great grandchildren

     Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Thursday Feb. 8, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, Tabor City, conducted by Reverend Wayne Faulk and Anthony Fipps, interment following in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Tabor City.

     Visitation was planned for the hour prior to the service in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.
