Frances Duncan Dusenbury: Loris
1932 – 2018
Frances Mullikin Duncan Dusenbury of Loris passed away on Monday, Feb. 5, at Conway Medical Center. She was 85.
Mrs. Dusenbury was born Aug. 24, 1932 in Anderson, daughter of the late, Hovey L. Mullikin and the late, Bessie Mae Palmer Mullikin. She was retired from the Horry County School System and was a longtime member of Loris First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her two daughters, Linda Dee Lee of Loris and Nancy Ann Duncan Cummins and husband, Frank of Durbin, West Virginia; her brother John Mullikin of Nashville, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Arianna Cummins and Brian Cummins; and great-grandchild Karsyn Cummins.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Dusenbury was predeceased by her husband, J.D. Duncan, Jr.; a brother, Lonnie Mullikin; and a sister, Jean Mullikin.
Family would like to extend a heartfelt “Thank You” to the staff of Conway Manor for their compassionate care over the past five and one half years.
Funeral services were planned for noon Saturday, Feb. 10, at Loris First Baptist Church with Pastor Dr. Louis Venable officiating. Committal services were to be private.
Visitation was planned for the hour preceding the service at the church.
