James Louis Gilford: Tabor City

1923 – 2018

     James Louis Gilford of Tabor City passed on Tuesday, May 1, at Liberty Commons Nursing and Rehab Center in Whiteville. He was 94.

     He is survived by two daughters, Marcella Grady of Tabor City and JoAnn Baxter of Elizabethtown; two step-children, Elizabeth Hill and Willie Gerald both of Tabor City.

     Viewing was planned from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, May 5, in the Westside Funeral Home Chapel, Tabor City, and following the funeral service.

     Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Sunday, May 6, at Olive Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Fair Bluff, burial following in the Columbus County Singing Union Cemetery.
