James Alan Cribbs: Loris

1955 – 2018

     James Alan Cribbs of Loris died Sunday, May 13, in McLeod Loris hospital. He was 62.

     Born Oct. 11, 1955 in Jacksonville, Florida, he was the son of the late Willie Joe Cribbs and Goldie Lee Starling Cribbs.

     He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Prevatte Cribbs of Loris; two sons, Jason Cribbs of Tabor City, Derek Cribbs of Lumberton; one daughter, Robin Cribbs Birdwell of Bartow, Florida; one sister, Gwendolyn Lethead of Haines, Florida; one brother, Steve M. Cribbs of Bartow, Florida; seven grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

     Burial of cremains will be held in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City, Florida at a later date.
