Margie Bell Mills Harrelson: Tabor City

1925 – 2018

     Margie Bell Mills Harrelson of Tabor City died Wednesday, May 23, in Columbus Regional Healthcare, Whiteville. She was 92.

     Born Dec. 21, 1925 in Columbus County, she was the daughter of the late Edgar D. Mills and Dora Lee Spivey Mills and the widow of Wilson Thomas Harrelson, Jr.

     She is survived by her daughter, Donna Harrelson Hammond and son in law Max of Tabor City; a grandson, Justin Hammond of Sunset Beach; a great grandchild, Jax Hammond of Sunset Beach; a brother, Charles Mills and wife Rachel of Whiteville; and a sister:,Nell Spivey of Charlotte.

     In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by four brothers, Malcolm Mills, Elbert Mills, Paul Mills, Lacy Mills; and two sisters, Elsie Burroughs and Virginia Hardee.

     A graveside service was planned for 11 a.m. Saturday, May 26, in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

     Visitation was planned from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., preceeding the service, in Inman Ward Funeral Home.
