Carlon Bryan Bessant: Loris

1995 – 2018

     Carlon Bryan Bessant of Loris passed away Monday, July 2, at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center. He was 23.

     Mr. Bessant was born Feb. 8, 1995 in Conway. A 2013 graduate of Loris High School, he was currently working in the parts department at Conway Ford. Carlon loved the outdoors, whether it was hunting, fishing, riding his four wheeler or just being with friends. He will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

     Survivors include his loving parents, Karl “J.R.” Bessant and Rachael Bessant of Loris; daughter Addilyn Burnett and her mother, Bailey Burnett of Loris; grandparents Shirley Porter of Loris, and Barbara Martin of Galivants Ferry; and his second family, Roger and Kelly Hardee of Conway and their three sons, Colby, Hunter, and Haisen who he considered to be his brothers.

     Memorial services were planned for 4 p.m. Saturday, July 7 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church officiated by Pastor Mack Hutson.

     Family planned to receive friends from 2:30 p.m. until the time of the service at the church.
