Randy Brooks Cox of Petersburg, Va.

1948 – 2018

     Randy Brooks Cox of Petersburg, Virginia passed away June 23, at Chippenham Hospital in Richmond, Virginia after a courageous battle with cancer.

     Born Nov. 15, 1948 in Florence, Randy was the son of the late Velma and Brooks Cox of Loris.

     He leaves behind his wife, Pat Pollay of the home; one daughter, Brittney Renee Cox; one son, Ryan Brooks Cox, and their mother, Fay Cunningham; one granddaughter; one grandson, all of Williamsburg, Virginia; three sisters, Phyllis Todd of Charleston, Linda Bell (W. C.) of Bayboro, and Dale Carter (David) of Loris; lots of nieces and nephews, and a host of friends that loved him dearly.

     A celebration of life was planned for 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 21, at Mt. Leon Baptist Church, 9801 Highway 905, Longs.

     Visitation and lunch with the family was planned for immediately following the service in the fellowship hall. All friends and family are welcome.
