Ann P. Barfield: Tabor City
1947 – 2018
Ann P. Barfield of Tabor City passed away Monday, July 30. She was 71.
Mrs. Barfield was born in Whiteville, a daughter of the late Alvin and Malta Mae Pace.
She was a member of Spirit of Life Ministries of Varnville. Mrs. Barfield loved children and had a heart for helping those in need.
She was predeceased by one granddaughter, Leah Buffkin; and one brother, William Pace.
Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Harvey Barfield, Jr., of the home; four children, Michael and his wife Ginny of Apex, Tammy and her husband Dale, LaReau and his wife Kristy, and Jeffrey and his wife Amy all of Longs; twelve grandchildren, Alexis, Emily, Zach, Samantha and her husband Matthew, Stacie, Shawn, Hannah, Madison, Athena, Nick, Robert and his fiancé Alisha, and Lana; five great-grandchildren, Rowyn, Isaac, Rylie, Bailey, and Braxton; two sisters, Ruth Hickman of Hallsboro, Joyce McPherson and her husband Gene of High Point; one brother, Gillis Pace and his wife Brenda of Hallsboro; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were planned for 3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 2, at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Loris Chapel with Rev. David Schaffer officiating. entombment following in Twin City Mausoleum. Visitation was planned for the hour prior to the service.
