Dorothy Sarvis: Chadbourn

1932 – 2018

     Dorothy Sarvis of Chadbourn died Thursday, August 9, 2018, in Liberty Commons, Whiteville. She was 86.

     Born May 29, 1932 in Horry County, she was the daughter of the late Hugh Sarvis and Lula Jane Fowler Sarvis.

     She is survived by four daughters, Helen Gale Guzman of Moncks Corner, Nancy Bullard and Donna McPherson of Chadbourn, Tina Godwin St. George of Savannah, Georgia; one sister, Gola Jean Davis of Pasadena, Maryland; nine grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.

     In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three granddaughters, six brothers, and four sisters.

     Funeral services were planned for 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, Tabor City, burial following in the George Fowler Cemetery.

     Visitation was planned for the hour preceding the service in the chapel.
