William Robert Todd: Loris

1937 – 2018

     William Robert Todd of Loris passed away on Thursday, Aug. 16, at his home following an illness. He was 80.

     Mr. Todd was born on Oct. 23, 1937 in Loris, son of the late Arthur Todd and the late Lucy Canady Todd.

     As a member of Cherry Hill Baptist Church since 1981, Robert served in many capacities including serving as a deacon.

     Survivors include his wife of nearly 50 years, Edwana Mishoe Todd of Loris; son Chad Todd and wife Tracy of Buford, Georgia; daughter Chanda Brown and husband, Philip of Louisville, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Allison and Logan Todd and Leah and Conner Brown; sister Pearl Boyd and husband Henry Will of Loris; and nieces and nephews.

     Family would like to extend a sincere “Thank You” to Heartland Hospice, and especially to Janice Meininger and Kendra Strickland for their compassionate care during this difficult time.

     Visitation was planned from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18 at Hardwick Funeral Home, Loris.

     Funeral services were planned for 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 19 at Cherry Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Ragsdale Allsbrook and Rev. John Holmes officiating, committal services following at Cherry Hill Cemetery.
