Debbie Collins Rion: Loris

1957 – 2018

     Debbie Collins Rion of Loris passed away at her home with her soulmate, Mark Carter King, on Friday, Sept. 14. She was 61.

     Mrs. Rion was born in Mullins, a daughter of Dale Collins and the late Jacquelyn Worley Collins. She was a school teacher at Daisy Elementary School and retired after 36 years of service.

     Survivors, in addition to her father, include her children, Nichole Black and her husband, Richard of Loris, Justin King and his wife Ashley of Little River; five grandchildren, Jacob Black, Caidence Johnson, Caitie Black, Bailey Black, and Carter Black; and one brother, Les Collins of Mullins.

     Visitation was planned from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23, at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Loris Chapel.

     Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24 at Loris First Baptist Church with Rev. Hunter Johnson officiating, burial following in Carter Cemetery.
