Paul Thomas Ward: Hallsboro

1941 – 2018

     Paul Thomas Ward of Hallsboro died Tuesday, Oct. 2, in his home. He was 77.

     Born March 30, 1941 in Columbus County, he was the son of the late Thomas Albert Ward and Alberta White Ward.

     He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and a member of Cypress Creek Freewill Baptist Church.

     He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Leho Ward of Hallsboro; two sons, Tom Ward of Chattaroy, Washington, Patrick Raynor of Hallsboro; two daughters, Tammie Ward of Spokane, Washington, Laura Norton of Hallsboro; 11 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

     In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by an infant son and two brothers, Charlie Lee Ward and Carl Calvin Ward.

     Funeral services were planned for 3 p.m.Friday, Oct. 5, in Cypress Creek Freewill Baptist Church, burial following in Hosea Simmons Cemetery.

     Visitation was planned for the hour preceding the service in the church.
