Frank Bernard Rinchich: Loris
1937 – 2018
Frank Bernard Rinchich of Loris passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Oct. 3, at home. He was 81.
Frank was born Jan. 14, 1937 in Pocahontas, Virginia to the late Anthony Rinchich and the late Nellie Dell Cook Rinchich. Frank served his country with courage and honor as a U.S. Marine in the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Alice Rinchich of the home; son Gregory B. Rinchich and wife, Peggy from Bostic; daughter Renee Marie McKinney and husband Melvin of Longs; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and three brothers, John Rinchich of Florida, Jack Rinchich and Tony Rinchich both of Charleston, West Virginia.
Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, at Hardwick Funeral Home. Committal services were planned for 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 8, at Florence National Cemetery.
Visitation was planned for the hour preceding Sunday’s service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to VFW at 111 Hwy 57 North, Little River, SC 29566 or to the Marine Corps League at 111 Hwy 57 North, Little River, SC 29566.
