Austin Buck Long: Whiteville

1995 – 2018

     Austin Buck Long of Whiteville died Saturday, Oct. 13. He was 22.

     He was born Dec. 20, 1995 in Columbus County, and was the son of Buck Holman Long and Lisa Ann Jones Long of Whiteville.

     In addition to his parents, he is survived by one brother, Jerry Tyler Long of Whiteville; paternal grandfather Elbert Long of Whiteville; and maternal grandparents Jerry and Polly Sarvis of Nakina.

     He was predeceased by his paternal grandmother, Jo Ann Long.

     A memorial service was planned for 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, Tabor City.

     Visitation was planned for the hour preceding the service in the chapel.
