1939 – 2018
Mary Carver Mincey of Loris passed away on Sunday, Oct. 21 at home following an illness. She was 79.
Ms. Mincey was born on Sept. 3, 1939 in Yardley, Pennsylvania, to the late, Clarence T. Carver and the late, Margaret Williamson Carver. Ms. Mincey was the owner of Just Printing, a member of Buck Creek Baptist Church and attended Loris First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her two sons, Brian Mincey and wife, Sheri of Roxboro, and Brad Mincey and wife, Cassie of Loris; six grandchildren, Ashli, Lucian, Brianna, Olivia and Abigail and one on the way; two sisters, Laura M. Quill of MA and Ruth Reid of New Jersey.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Mincey was predeceased by her husband Joseph Edward Mincey; two brothers, Clarence Carver II and Willet E. Carver; four sisters, Jean Meister, Joan Carver, Joanne Bara and Margaret H. Carver.
Funeral services were planned for 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, at Buck Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Allen and Rev. Grady Corder officiating, committal services following at Florence National Cemetery.
