David George Hinkle: Loris

1941 – 2018

     David George Hinkle of Loris passed away on Friday, Oct. 19  at Embrace Hospice House of Myrtle Beach following an illness. He was 76.

     Mr. Hinkle was born Nov. 21, 1941 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to the late Horace George Hinkle and the late Edith Elsie Helms. Mr. Hinkle proudly served his country in the Army, a Past Master of Masonic Lodge #432 and a current member of Loris Lodge #205 A.F.M.

     Survivors include his wife, Carol Fredericks Hinkle of the home; son, Karl David Hinkle and wife, Susan of Loris; daughter, Pamela Susan Delessio and husband, Don of Mulica Hill, New Jersey; two grandsons, Brandon Scott Bethune of Mulica Hill, New Jersey and Nathaniel Edward Hinkle of Seattle, Washington; brother, Raymond Hinkle and wife, Dixie of Kennett Square, Pennsylvania and brother-in-law Jim Sherman of New Jersey.

     In addition to his parents, Mr. Hinkle was predeceased by his sister, Lorrain Irene Sherman.

     Visitation was planned from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at Hardwick Funeral Home, Loris.

     Memorial services with masonic rites were planned for 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27, at Hardwick Memorial Chapel with John Watts officiating. Committal services were to be private.
