Rebecca Sue Graham Godwin: Clarendon

1951 – 2018

     Rebecca Sue Graham Godwin of Clarendon died Thursday, Nov. 15, in Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Life Care Center, Whiteville. She was 67.

     Born June 8, 1951 in Mullins, she was the daughter of the late Allard Daniel Graham and Louise Blackburn Graham.

     She is survived by her husband, Charles Perry Godwin of Clarendon; a daughter, Hollie Idella Fowler and husband Brandon of Clarendon; a son, Charles Alan Godwin and wife Kristen of Orrum; a brother, Bobby Gray Graham of West Columbia; a sister, Louise Dudley of Whiteville; three grandchildren, Michael Braden Fowler, Kaycee Alayna Godwin, Marlee Kamryn Godwin.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Carol Peterson.

     She was a seamstress for many years and retired from the United States Department of Agriculture.

     In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Beaverdam Original Free Will Baptist Church Building Fund, 2665 Beaverdam Road, Chadbourn, NC 28431 or Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Life Care Center, 206 Warrior Trail, Whiteville, NC 28472.

     Visitation was planned from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17 in Beaverdam Original Free Will Baptist Church.

     Funeral Services were planned for 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18 in Beaverdam Original Free Will Baptist Church, entombment following in Hinson Cemetery.
