Willard Duncan: Tabor City

1945 – 2018

     Willard Duncan of Tabor City died Tuesday, Nov. 27, in his home. He was 73.

     Born Jan. 13, 1945 in Columbus County, he was the son of the late Ratchford Emory Duncan and Lela Bly Fowler Duncan and the widower of Hilda Ray Nealey Duncan.

     He is survived by one son, Willard Dale Duncan of Loris; four sisters, Linda Worley, Barbara McPherson, Hilda Gray Strickland of Tabor City and Lois Cox of Asheville; seven grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

     In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one son, Randall Ray Duncan.

     Visitation was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, in Inman Ward Funeral Home, Tabor City.

     Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, burial following in Myrtle Green Cemetery.
