Leon Pinkney Williamson: Tabor City

Leon Pinkney Williamson of Tabor City died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2018 in his home. He was 76.
Born June 26, 1942 in Loris, he was the son of the late Garcie and Maggie Norris Williamson.
He is survived by two daughters, Linda Williamson of North Myrtle Beach and Melissa Allejos of Virginia Beach, Virginia; a brother, Garcie Williamson Jr. of Tallahassee, Florida; four sisters, Jean Buffkin of Tabor City, JoAnne Howard of Georgia, Iris Gale Hairr of Fayetteville, and Kathy Simpson of Clinton; five grandchildren; and eight great children.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five sisters, Joyce Lovette, Betty Spivey, Shirley Cribb, Roxy Jones, and Lee Kinlaw.
A memorial service was planned for 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 22 in Forest Lawn Baptist Church, Tabor City.
Visitation was planned following the service in the Forest Lawn Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
