Talmadge “Chip” Jacobs Jr.: Loris

1951 – 2019

     Talmadge “Chip” Jacobs, Jr. of Loris passed away Saturday, March 9, at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center in Myrtle Beach. He was 67.

     Chip was born in Loris, a son of the late Talmadge “Tab” Jacobs, Sr. and the late Hazel Manning Jacobs. He was a longtime member of Loris First Baptist Church where he was a past Deacon.

     Chip was predeceased by a brother, Sammy L. Jacobs.

     Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Patricia Roberts Jacobs of Loris; a son, Talmadge “Tab” Jacobs, III (Shanna) of Loris; a sister, Ila V. Whittington of Whiteville; a brother, Danny E. Jacobs of Tabor City; five grandchildren; and many other extended family members.

     Family planned to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 11, at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Loris Chapel.

     Funeral services were planned for 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, at Loris First Baptist Church with Dr. Louis Venable and Rev. Clark Whittington officiating, burial following in the Roberts Family Memorial Gardens.
