Wayne Anthony Graci: Loris
1948 – 2019
Wayne Anthony Graci of Loris passed away on Tuesday, March 26, at his home. He was 70.
Mr. Graci was born Sept. 20, 1948 in New Brunswick, New Jersey, to the late Samuel Graci and the late Patricia Rizzo Graci Spampinato.
Mr. Graci served his country with courage, honor, and dignity in the United States Marine Corp. during the Vietnam War where he was a point man. He earned both the Vietnam Service Medal and the National Defense Service Medal for his valor.
Wayne was the anchor of his community and honorary social director for all fun activities and engagements. He was an avid gardener who loved to fish, hunt, travel, and work. He will be most remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and dear friend to all who were blessed to have known him.
Survivors include his wife, Janet Graci of the home; three sons, Anthony Graci and wife Rebecca of Harmony, Florida, Jason Browne of Sayreville, New Jersey, and Edward Browne of Oldbridge, New Jersey; his daughter, Tiea Zehnbauer-Devincentis and husband Jim of Bonita Springs, Florida; six grandchildren, James, Maxwell, Rachel, Morgan, Nikolas, and Matthew; his brother, Bruce Graci and wife, Kathy of Monroe, New Jersey; four sisters, Teri Schulte and husband, Jeff of Princeton, New Jersey, Karen Piren and husband, Mike of New Jersey, Carol Fisher and husband Bob, and Arlene Spampinato all of New York.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Graci was predeceased by his brother, Michael Graci.
Visitation was planned from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, April 5, at Hardwick Funeral Home.
Funeral services were planned for 11 a.m. Friday, April 5, at Hardwick Memorial Chapel with Rev. Dr. Tim Osment officiating, committal services with military honors following at Twin City Memorial Garden.
