McAuthor Douglas “Mack” Fipps: Whiteville

1971 – 2019

     McAuthor Douglas “Mack” Fipps of Whiteville died Sunday, March 31.  He was 47.

     Born June 9, 1971 in Horry County, he was the son of Annie Lou McDowell Bachelor of Green Sea, and the late Douglas McArthur Fipps.

     In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Rhonda Kay Cribb Fipps of Whiteville; one step-son, James Akers, Jr. of Greenville, South Carolina; one brother, Dewayne Fipps, Jr. of Green Sea; and three sisters, Deborah Nealey of Chadbourn, Medeana Uribe of Green Sea, and Teresa Fipps of Loris.

     A funeral service was planned for 4:30 p.m. Thursday, April 4, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.

     Visitation was planned for the hour preceding the service in the chapel.
