Margaret Chestnut Causey: Loris

1929 – 2019

     Margaret Chestnut Causey of Loris died Thursday, April 25, in Hope Arbor Assisted Living, Loris. She was 90.

     Born Jan. 5, 1929 in Horry County, she was the daughter of the late William McKenley Chestnut and Rosie Mae Chestnut and the widow of Arthur E. Causey.

     She is survived by three brothers, Walter Chestnut and Robert Chestnut of Georgetown and Frances Chestnut of Lake City; three sisters, Rose Chestnut Walker of Tabor City, Willie Mae Cox and Charlotte Holley of Georgetown; four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

     In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Dr. Gene Causey and Jennings Dale Causey; and one grandson.

     A memorial service will be held at a later date.
