Sally McCormick Boyd: Loris

1949 – 2019

     Sally McCormick Boyd of Red Bluff Road, Loris died Saturday, April 27. She was 69.

     Mrs. Boyd was born in Horry County, a daughter of the late Kelly Hampton and  Sally Agnes Parker McCormick.

     She was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. Prior to retirement, she was employed in civil service at Ft. Bragg Army Base.          She was predeceased by a brother, Charles E. McCormick.

     Surviving are: one son, Jerry Boyd, Jr. of Loris, SC; one daughter, Dee Dee Long  and husband, John Long, Jr. of Conway; three grandchildren, Morgan Anthony, Taylor Long, and Zoey Jane Boyd; two brothers, Hoyt McCormick of Loris and Larry McCormick of Tabor City; one sister, Patsy Elliott of Columbia; and a sister in law, Phyllis McCormick of Newport News, Virginia.

     Graveside services were planned for 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 30 at Twin City Memorial Gardens with Rev. Rodney Hord officiating.

     Family planned to visit with friends at the gravesite following the service.
