Virginia Belle Fowler: Loris
1925 – 2019
Virginia Belle Fowler of Loris passed away on Tuesday, May 7, at McLeod Loris hospital. She was 94.
Mrs. Fowler was born on April 17, 1925 in Tabor City, to the late Rossie Fowler and the late Gertrude Harrelson Fowler.
Mrs. Fowler worked as seamstress with Loris Manufacturing until her retirement and was a longtime member of Loris First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, James Fowler and wife, Hazel of Sofia; her daughter, Gloria Jean Livingston and husband, Jimmy of Loris; her sister, Dorothy Fowler of Little Rock, Arkansas; and many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Fowler was predeceased by her husband, David Kelly Fowler; her sons, Curtis Fowler, David Fowler, Donald Fowler, and Ronald Fowler; her daughter, Mary Louise Buffkin; and her brother, Howard Fowler.
Visitation was planned from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, May 10, at Hardwick Funeral Home.
Funeral services were planned to follow at 11 a.m. at Hardwick Memorial Chapel with Rev. Lloyd Williamson officiating, committal services following at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
