Janice Eulean Williams Gore: Whiteville

1939 – 2019

     Janice Eulean Williams Gore of Whiteville died Monday, June 17, in Columbus Regional Healthcare, Whiteville.  She was 80.

     Born Jan. 24, 1939 in Columbus County, she was the daughter of the late William Pinkney Williams and Dorothy Louise Hewett Williams.

     She is survived by her husband, Daniel Jackson Gore of the home; one daughter, Dana Luann Gore of Leland; one son, Williams Brett Gore of Whiteville; one brother, William Kenneth Williams of Whiteville; and three grandchildren.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Doris Louise Williams High.

     Funeral services were planned for 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 19, in Pleasant Plains Baptist Church, burial following in Gore Cemetery.

     Visitation was planned for the hour preceding the service in the church.

     In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pleasant Plains Baptist Church, 31 Pleasant Plains Church Rd., Whiteville, NC 29572.
