Peggy Joyce Tyler Todd: Loris
1933 – 2019
Peggy Joyce Tyler Todd of Loris passed away on Monday, June 17, at McLeod Loris hospital. She was 85.
Mrs. Todd was born on Nov. 28, 1933 in McColl, to the late Grover Cleveland Tyler and the late Jeanetta Stevens.
Mrs. Todd worked in food service at Loris High School, Richard’s BBQ, and KFC throughout her life. Mrs. Todd was a longtime member of Loris First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Phyllis Ann Todd of Loris, SC; her two sons, Danny Paul Todd and wife, Cindy and Timothy Paul Todd and wife, Melissa, all of Loris; one grandson, James Philip Larrimore and wife, Melody of Myrtle Beach; two step-grandsons, Winston Martin and wife, Erin of Hemingway, and Nicolas Martin and wife, Lydia of Loris; four great-grandchildren, Raine Rabon, Summer Rabon, Snow Larrimore and Rainie Saiag; two step great-grandchildren, Nathan Martin and Neal Martin; two great-great-grandchildren, Rosalie Rabon and Jaxton Rabon; many loving nieces and nephews and her special friend, Kathy Treible of Loris.
Mrs. Todd was predeceased by her husband, Paul Duff Todd, grandson, Patrick Rabon, and her six brothers and sisters.
Visitation was planned from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, at Hardwick Funeral Home.
Funeral services were planned for 3 p.m. Thursday, June 20, at Loris First Baptist Church with Rev. Drew Jackson and Rev. Jayson Hoagland officiating, committal services following at Twin City Memorial Gardens.
