Pamela Hilton Powell: Loris

1958 – 2019

     Pamela Hilton Powell of Loris passed away Thursday, July 4. She was 61.

     Born Jan. 31, 1958 in Rock Hill, SC, she was the daughter of Joseph and Sara.

     She was predeceased by her beloved husband Ervin “Runt” Powell; daughter, Sara Michelle Powell, and father, Joseph C. Hilton, III.

     Surviving Mrs. Powell are her daughter, Jan Vescovi (Damon) of Loris; her son, Charlie Powell of Loris; three grandchildren; mother Sara Boone Bigham of Rock Hill; two sisters, Ann LaCarter and Kay Brooks, both of Rock Hill, SC; one brother, Joseph C. Hilton, IV of Rock Hill, SC; and two step-sisters, Kathy Bigham Miller and Vickie Bigham Kessinger, both of Rock Hill.

     Funeral services were held at 3 p.m., Sunday, July 7, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. David Watts officiating.  Burial followed in the church cemetery.
