Thomas Olen Norwood

1933 – 2019

     Thomas Olen Norwood of Loris passed away on Wednesday, July 10 at Loris McLeod hospital. He was 86.

     Mr. Norwood was born Feb. 14, 1933 in Elmira, New York and worked in construction as a crane operator for most of his life.

     Survivors include his daughters, Catherine Conley and husband Daniel of Loris, and Tammy Price and husband Richard of Monticello, New York; six grandchildren, John Grimm and wife Talitha, Gary Buley and wife Allyson, Tracy Hornung and husband Chris, Michael Grimm and wife Amanda, Shaun Grimm, and Briana Conley and fiancé Brandon Brown; eleven great grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.

     Mr. Norwood was predeceased by his wife, Catherine Norwood, and his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Hank Norwood.

     Visitation was planned from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 13, at Hardwick Funeral Home. Graveside services were to follow at 1 p.m. at Twin City Memorial Gardens in Loris with Rev. Bruce Adams officiating.
