Betty Diane Watts: Loris

1947 – 2019

     Betty Diane Watts of Loris died Tuesday, July 30, in her home. She was 72.

     Born May 2, 1947 in Columbus County, she was the daughter of the late Levi Ottiwell Watts and Evelyn Soles Watts.

     She is survived by her husband, Robert Doyle “Don” Watts of the home; two daughters, Pamela Juarez of Loris and Tina Mendoza; three brothers, Randy Watts of Tabor City, Billy Watts of Loris, and Winston “Pee Wee” Watts of Loris; seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Diane Watts; three brothers, Norman Watts, Levy “Ham” Watts, and Linwood “Rawhide” Watts; and three sisters, Alene Rogers, Mildred Fowler and Florine Stevens.

     Visitation was planned from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2, in Inman Ward Funeral Home, Tabor City.

     Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, burial following in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
