Few details of the discovery were released, but the sheriff said “foul play is suspected” in the death of the man whose body was found in a wooded area off of the 5800 block of Ramey Ford Road, Tabor City.
No additional information will be released “until identification can be made and the victim’s family members notified,” the news release said.
Investigators are asking anyone with information on this incident to contact the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office.
