Anita Pearl Gore: Clarendon

1944 – 2020

     Anita Pearl Gore of Clarendon died Monday, Jan. 13, in her home. She was 75.

     Born July 28, 1944 in Columbus County, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Battle Gore and Macie Belle Thompson Gore.

     She was a member of Sweet Home Baptist Church.

     She is survived by two sisters, Brenda Gore Godwin of Clarendon, and Jean Carol Small of Loris; and four nephews; two nieces; and six great nephews and three great nieces.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Paul D. Gore.

     Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, burial following in Gore Cemetery.

     Visitation was planned for the hour preceding the service in the chapel.
