     Melanie Jones Kirchner of Loris passed away Wednesday, July 15, at McLeod Loris hospital. She was 48.

     Mrs. Kirchner was born June 28, 1972 in Oyster Bay, Long Island, New York, to the late David Jones and the late Hilda Turner Jones.

     Survivors include her boyfriend, Wayne Tyler of Loris; two sisters, Sherry Dee and husband, Michael of New Fairfield, Connecticut and Valerie Chivinski of Torrington, Connecticut; step-mother Georgianna Jones; and step-sister, Krissy Louderback of Port St. Lucie, Florida.
