Katherine Amanda Norris Soles: Tabor City

1976 – 2026

     Katherine Amanda Norris Soles of Tabor City died Friday, Oct. 9, in her home. She was 50.

     Born March 10, 1976, in Columbus County, she was the daughter of the late Norman Neil Norris and Linda Faye Ward Norris.

     She is survived by her husband, Michael Lynn Soles of the home; one son, Herman Keith Norris of Clarendon; a brother, Neal Norris (Michelle) of Tabor City; three sisters, Lesia Nobles (Paul) of Clarendon, Beverly Tyler of Myrtle Beach, and Angie Ward (Jackie) of Nakina; special family member Allen Sammons of Whiteville; and three grandchildren, Annabelle Ivey, Lisa Ivey and JoJo Pittman.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, John Jayce Norris; and one sister, Wendy Marie Norris.

     Funeral services were planned for 3 pm. Tuesday, Oct. 13, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, burial following in the Norman Norris Cemetery.

     Visitation was planned for the hour preceding services in the chapel.
