Dawn Marie Schoener Kunkel: Loris

1953 – 2026

     Dawn Marie Schoener Kunkel of Loris passed away on Sunday, Sept. 27, , at McLeod Seacoast Hospital. She was 73.

     Born July 27, 1953, in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Irvin Franklin Schoener and the late Evelyn Marian Schock Schoener.

     Survivors include her loving husband and life partner of 41 years; David J. Faustino; children Bernie Faustino and Paula Faustino Perry; five grandchildren, and other extended family.

     In addition to her parents, Mrs. Kunkel was predeceased by her son, Benjamin Franklin Kunkel; and her brothers, Bob Schoener and Glen Schoener.

     Memorial services will be private.

     In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
