Teresa Shannon Burns: Loris

1955 – 2026

     Teresa Shannon Burns of Loris passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 23. She was 71.

     Teresa was born on Aug. 16, 1955, to the late Thelma Mae Cox Shannon and Carlton Claude Shannon.

     In addition to her parents Teresa was preceding in death by her brother, Carlton Shannon, and other family members.

     Teresa’s memory will live on through her three children, Stephanie Calapp, Paula Herring and Ted Burns; her fiancé and life partner Donnie Meekins; two sisters, Linda Long and Edna Roberts; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and other extended family and friends.

     Memorial services will be announced.
