Margaret Ward Cribb: Loris

1938 – 2026

     Margaret Ward Cribb of Loris passed away Saturday, Sept. 26, in the McLeod Seacoast hospital. She was 88.

     Born June 26, 1938 in Horry County, she was the daughter of the late William C. Ward and Grace Fowler Ward.

     She is survived by one daughter, Patty Cribb Wade of Loris; a brother, Charles Ward (Faye) of High Point; two grandchildren, Bobby Wade (Alyson) of Tabor City and Patrick Wade (Loralei) of North Myrtle Beach; and four great grandchildren, Grady Wade, Oliver Wade, Noah Wade, and Elizabeth Grace Margaret Wade.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Grady Cribb; one daughter, Barbara Jean Cribb; and a sister, Billie Jean Fowler.

     Funeral services were planned for 3 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, burial following in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

     Family planned to receive friends during the hour preceding in services in the chapel.
