William Bill Stanley: Loris

1953 – 2026

     William Bill Stanley of Loris passed away on Sunday, Sept. 27, at his home. He was 73.

     Born Jan. 8, 1953, in Loris, he was the son of the late Harry Liston Stanley and the late Wilma Mae Grainger Stanley.

     Survivors include his loving wife of 33 years, Judy H. Stanley; two sons, Jason Martin and Gregor Martin; a daughter, Brea Faircloth; one sister, Harriett Payne; and two grandchildren.

     In addition to his parents, Mr. Stanley was predeceased by his brother, Harry Liston Stanley; and sister, Carol Stanley Strickland.

     Funeral services were planned for 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, at Hardwick Memorial Chapel with Rev. Tommy Shelley officiating.

     Family planned to receive friends preceding the funeral from 2:30 until 3:45 p.m. at the funeral home, and following services.

     Private committal services were planned.

     Family asks that memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 381.
