Head-on
Two people were seriously injured, one requiring McLeod AirReach helicopter transport to the trauma center at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, in a head-on crash on U.S. 701 in Tabor City Friday. Tabor City Police were investigating. Tabor City Fire Chief Jeff Fowler said injuries to both drivers was significant, but did not appear life threatening.
