Norwood Wade Sumner: Wilmington

1997 – 2020

     Norwood Wade Sumner of Wilmington left this world way too soon on Thursday, Oct. 1, 2020 in Wilmington. He was 23.

     Born March 10, 1997 in Sampson County, he was the son of James Norwood Sumner Jr. and Terra Hudson Sumner of Tabor City.

     In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Callie Ann Sumner and her boyfriend David Friel, Jr. of Tabor City; and his fiancé, Haileigh McKenzie Southerland of Wilmington.

     All that knew him, loved him and he will forever be missed.

     Family held a private service on Sunday, Oct. 4.
