Shannon Dale McMillian: Chadbourn

1975 – 2020

     Shannon Dale McMillian of Chadbourn died Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2020 in his home. He was 45.

     Born Aug. 24, 1975 in Horry County, he was the son of the late Kenneth Devon and Peggy June Hilburn McMillian.

     He is survived by one son, Kenneth Shayne McMillian of the home; his step mother, Pearl Soles (Junior) of Chadbourn; one brother, Wayne McMillian (Jackie) of Tabor City; two sisters, Beverly June McMillian of Tabor City and Donna McMillian (Lori Tilli) of Bangor, Pennsylvania; and many nieces and nephews.

     Those who knew him loved him and he loved them in return. Shannon had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. He was a talented piano player and he loved to express his talents and love for God through his playing. He was a member and the church pianist at Emerson Original Free Will Baptist Church for many years. Shannon tried his best to make everyone happy and loved to make you laugh and smile on even the rough days.

     Funeral service were planned for 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, burial following in Myrtle Green Cemetery.

     Visitation was planned for the hour preceding the service in the chapel.
