Billy Brooks Small: Loris

1937 – 2020

     Billy Brooks Small of Loris died Saturday, Nov. 21, in McLeod Loris hospital, Loris. He was 83.

     Born Sept. 12, 1937 in Horry County, he was the son of the late Woodrow and Viola Hodge Small and the widower of Shirley Ann Martin Small.

     He is survived by one son, Rodney Small and his wife Angela of Loris; a brother, Wilson Woodrow Small of Thomasville; a sister, Genevieve Williams of Loris; four grandchildren, Kevin Small, Daniel Small, Michael Brooks Small and Kristina Small; and two great-grandchildren, Natalie Nichole Small and Aaliyah Allen.

     Mr. Billy retired as a Master Sergeant in the United States Army.

     Graveside services were planned for 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 25, in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Tabor City.
